About
We are a healthcare-focused fractional video agency built around a simple belief: the most important work deserves to be seen.
Overview
Collective Film Co. is a fractional video agency built exclusively for healthcare. We partner with health systems, hospitals, physician groups, and healthcare marketing teams to create content that supports organizational goals, strengthens perception, and reflects the people behind the work.
Our services span the full content lifecycle, from strategy and creative development through production, post-production, and distribution. Whether supporting service-line growth, patient acquisition, philanthropy, recruitment, or brand initiatives, every project is designed with a clear purpose and a defined audience in mind.
We operate with the creative discipline of a film company and the accountability of a strategic partner. Our approach is collaborative, embedded, and intentionally sized to meet the needs of each engagement. The result is work that feels authentic to the organization, resonates with the people it serves, and creates value long after production is complete.
Founder’s Story
In 2023, my wife and I welcomed our daughter at just 22 weeks. The NICU team that cared for her carried our family through 123 days of uncertainty. They didn't need a marketing campaign to earn our trust. The people did the work.
That experience changed how I see healthcare and ultimately shaped the mission of Collective Film. We exist to help healthcare organizations tell the stories of the people behind the work: the clinicians, caregivers, patients, and families whose lives are changed every day, often without recognition.
Healthcare is one of the most personal experiences in a person's life. The organizations that earn trust are those that communicate with empathy, authenticity, and clarity. That is the standard we bring to every project.
— Ryan Alldaffer, Managing Director & Executive Producer
The mission provides the purpose. The craft determines how it's experienced.
Director’s approach
Most of what I've made in my career has been commercial: brand campaigns, national TV spots, and work for Netflix. The technical craft is the same on any set. But healthcare is different.
When you're in a room with a patient, a family who has lived through something difficult, or a provider explaining medical complexity, the camera has to earn its place. You can't impose. You can't perform. You listen carefully and create space for people to say what they actually mean, not what they think they're supposed to say.
Healthcare marketing teams aren't hiring us to create in a vacuum. You're inviting our team into work already happening: the service line you're building, the patients you've earned the trust of, and the mission your organization carries forward every day. My role is to bring the creative discipline that helps those stories connect while respecting the people behind them.
That's what makes healthcare storytelling different from anything else I've done. And it's what I look for on every Collective Film project.
— Josiah Damery, Director & Production Lead

Our Approach
Healthcare is personal. Behind every service line, campaign, philanthropic initiative, and recruitment effort are real people making important decisions about their health, their families, and their future.
That's why every project begins the same way: with the people at the center of the story. Patients, providers, caregivers, and communities. We believe the most effective healthcare marketing helps audiences see themselves in the work and understand why it matters.
We call this Story First. It shapes how we approach strategy, creative development, production, and distribution. It also shapes how we work with our clients: collaboratively, transparently, and with a deep respect for the responsibility that comes with representing healthcare organizations.
The values behind our work are simple: collaboration, creativity, honesty, humility, and integrity. Combined with a fractional agency model, they allow us to embed with healthcare teams, stay close to the work, and provide the flexibility of a specialized partner without the overhead of an internal production department.
